Case Study: Temperature Controlled Room within an Existing Warehouse, Seaford

Home > Case Studies > Temperature Controlled Room within an Existing Warehouse, Seaford

MP Fruit & Veg, based in Seaford, is a thriving fruit & vegetable distribution company delivering fresh local produce to its customer base around the peninsula. With an emphasis on freshness and competitive pricing on their products their customers receive Australian grown produce delivered to their door. They also support the local agricultural industry so its a win-win for everyone.

As MP Fruit & Veg has seen increased demand in their business due to their innovative approach, a cool room was required to cater for the growth. Their temporary 40ft refrigerated container was no longer suitable due to its limited storage capacity, access issues and high energy costs.

In consultation with Total Coolrooms a room 9600mm x 6500mm x 3500mm was decided on with a sliding door for access for pallet trucks but also catered for forklift if required in the future.

Testimonial - Nelle Baird, MP Fruit & Veg Managing Director

"We chose Total Coolrooms for our new installation because the communication at the quoting stage was exceptional - and I'm really happy to say I was impressed the whole way through the process.

Not having to project manage several trades to ensure completion allowed me to keep operating my business while the install was done and their ability to work around my operations and keep a food friendly clean site at the same time was astounding.

The finished product is beautiful, efficient and exactly right for our growing fruit & veg business. Exceptional quality job completed in an exceptionally professional manner - Highly recommend."
